The 2022 Glitter Gala, a fundraiser for OUTSaskatoon, was themed after the 1990 LGBTQ classic Paris Is Burning. Titled 'Paris of the Prairies Is Burning,' the event played on this iconic film and Saskatoon's nickname as the 'Paris of the Prairies.' Designed by Gabrielle Giroux using Photoshop and Illustrator, the poster and promotional materials (including an event banner, stories, and square posts) feature a drag queen atop a burning Eiffel Tower set against the Saskatoon skyline, perfectly capturing the spirit and theme of the event.
