The Athabasca Denesułiné Agreement cover, designed by Gabrielle Giroux, features artwork by another Denesułiné artist, and was created using Illustrator and Photoshop. The illustration of a ring of people, extracted from a submitted painting, frames a traditional caribou drum and a caribou silhouette. The client wanted the cover and their "logo" to symbolize the deep connection between the Dene people, their communities, and the caribou—mirroring the agreement, which represents years of dedication to the caribou and traditional Dene ways of life.
