In late 2021, Aleksi Campagne approached Encore Graphics to bring his vision for his dual French and English album, For The Giving / Sans Rien Donner, to life. Aleksi sought to create album art that subverted expectations of fiddle-singing, presenting his music as indie-folk singer/songwriter rather than traditional. His vision included a photo of himself intertwined with natural and surreal elements, reflecting the album's underlying environmental justice themes. Designed by Gabrielle Giroux using Photoshop, the final cover is a surrealist blend of nature and artistry that perfectly encapsulates Aleksi's unique musical style for the 2022 release.
