Developed to support the implementation of the Promising Practices Framework, this curriculum equips humane educators, gender-based violence (GBV) educators, teachers, and community educators with tools to engage men and boys as allies in preventing gender-based violence through community-based humane education. The curriculum promotes empathy, compassion, and advocacy as key strategies for building safer, more equitable communities.

Encore Graphics designed the curriculum to transform complex educational content into an engaging and accessible resource. A clear visual hierarchy and thoughtful page layouts help distinguish sections and improve readability, while carefully curated photography aligns with Humane Canada's image guidelines by showcasing healthy animal care, diverse communities, and inclusive representation. The design incorporates Humane Canada's brand colours for consistency while building upon the visual identity for the Promising Practices initiative, also developed by Encore Graphics in 2025, resulting in a cohesive and impactful educational publication.
